Book Report

Hooray!  Sixth Grade is ready for their first book report!  We went over the rough draft today, and the template for the "good copy" is linked for you here!  The class can also ask me for the copy when they are ready, but I cannot print it in color.
This report will concentrate on the main character in their book.  They can choose either the protagonist or the antagonist.  The report is due November 2.

Last Week
For the first time Father Piers visited. He talked about what we learned in religion. In religion, we talked about God making humans. It's important to know about this because humans are the best creations God ever made. Also, keep in your prayers that a little 6 who's has turned 7 last weekend has passed away from a tragic car accident. So please keep her in your prayers.
Spanish Pinata
Today we picked out groups for making pinatas.  More details on this will be going home soon!

I need to let you know how impressed I was with the students and their interaction with Fr. Piers!  They were so engaged and eager to let him know what they have learned in Religion.  They eagerly explained to him the symbolism in the Creation stories, the meaning of the word Genesis, and our role as stewards of Creation.  I am so very proud of them!
